I grew up on a farm in Northwest Iowa, where hard work and hands-on problem-solving were part of everyday life. My brothers and I ran our own construction company and farmed together until 1982. For the next 35 years, I owned and operated Schiebout Window and Door, before passing the business on to my son.
I’ve always enjoyed a good challenge, and repurposing grain bins is just the next chapter of that same spirit.
