I am co-owner and inventor at Grain Bin Inspirations. I grew up on a farm in NW Iowa. My brothers and I also owned our own construction company, and we farmed together until 1982. I spent the last 35 years as the owner and operator of Schiebout Window and Door. I have since sold the business to my son. I have always enjoyed a good challenge, so here we are, repurposing grain bins. We understand customer service and will always offer our customers a quality product.

We would like to thank Dan and the guys for the great work they did on our grain bin. The door they installed works great, it rolls very easily and seals great. The door rolls like a dream, very little effort is needed to open it. The door looks great, it looks like it was always a part of the bin. We are very happy with the looks and the function of the door.
When I came across a post on Facebook about turning an empty grain bin into a storage shed. We have two of these on our acreage and who can’t use more storage? Dan was so helpful in helping me see the vision and the idea that the door can go AROUND the bin and not up and over is brilliant! No braces or braces inside to deal with!
His detailed bid was very fair especially when you compare it to constructing a new garage or shed.
The communication was excellent and he delivered on expectations. ABOVE and BEYOND. The door is easy to open and there is more space than I imagined. I can drive my car/truck right in with lots of space in the perimeter.
